A human-first song project
In an age of automation, I wanted Swan Songs to offer something deeply human. Inspired in part by the grace and loyalty of the swan, each commission begins with your story and unfolds into an original composition (or selected cover) written exclusively for you, from me.

Created through thoughtful conversation, handcrafted writing, sound design and recording, every piece is a lasting work of art designed to celebrate love, legacy, heartbreak, healing, and all the messy and immaculate moments that define us.

For centuries, artists were supported by patrons who understood that creativity needed both time and trust to flourish. Somewhere along the way, much of that relationship was replaced by algorithms, endless content, and fractions of a cent per stream. Swan Songs is an invitation to revive that older idea in a modern way. for new work to exist.

I've had the personal honor to tell so much of my life story through song, on stage and in published works. Over the last 20 years, I've written thousands of songs, produced and played hundreds live, and brought over 50 to full publishing. I'm grateful to say I've gotten to build a musical legacy with its own unique sound and reach.

These songs come from somewhere perhaps beyond me, and I see myself as the conduit to receive and say yes to the assignments. Like all creativity, how we use this gift is our choice. This human ingenuity is something I personally don't believe AI is here to replace, but rather to offer us more time to dedicate to. More time to notice, connect and
return to ourselves and each other.

That's why I've chosen to offer this initial collection of commissions; I feel the call, I've created the time, and I value the stories of other people's lives. I feel a well of compassion to listen and the
capacity to translate through music.
